What the invite says
The referral invite says you get $20 off, no fees, and a special exchange rate on your first transfer of $50 or more.

What the page showed when I loaded it
I opened the link in a headless browser on 2026-10-11. This is what I saw that day. Offers change, and a company can show different pages to different visitors.
- Remitly showed me the United States version of the page (sending to Vietnam). It said: "Get 10 USD discount when you send 50 USD or more, no fees and a special rate on your first transfer with Remitly".
- That is not the same amount as the invite my partner sent, which says $20 off. The offer seems to depend on the country you send from, so go by what the page shows you.
- The page also said the person who referred you gets 25 USD. That is the reward on this link, at least for the version I was shown.
- Fine print on the page: "New customers only. One per customer. Limited time offer." In the example shown, the promotional exchange rate applied to the first 700 USD of the transfer and the standard rate to the rest.
Before you sign up
The amount seems to depend on the country you send from, so go by what the page shows you. The promotional rate applies to the first transfer only; if you send money regularly, compare the regular rate and fees for your route.

- You send money regularly and have not compared Remitly's regular rate and fees with other services for your route.
